Jobsite Dog

His name is Jackson and he belongs to Kenny, one of our contractors.

I'm not a dog person. Usually I'm allergic to dogs, but I think that this fella was pretty much allergy free for me. (Although I didn't let him lick me)

I was left alone with Jackson for about an hour - I had no idea what to do with him. I didn't know if he needed to be watched or if he was fine just hanging out in the garage (on a leash.) He's a jobsite dog, so he's pretty used to all of the debris.

We just sat and stared at each other for awhile, but later I took him for a walk.

I have to mention that I was quite nervous about taking this dog, that I really didn't know, for a walk in a neighborhood that I was unfamiliar. I was determined to be the "Pack Leader," as Cesar Millan would say... We did just fine and I never lost control of the dog.

I have to say though, Jackson is just a great dog. He probably wouldn't have caused a three year old any problems.

Have a great day!
