I ran across a dollar bill today that had a Where's George stamp on it, so I logged into my account (which is a breeze to set up) and entered the serial number to the bill.  Turns out that the bill I received today was originally entered in Miami, FL almost a year ago.  You can see the tracking here.   I've been on the website for a few years now and I have entered 45 bills.  It's fun and when you spot a bill that has been marked as a Where's George bill, it's exciting!

These are some examples of what you could see on the bill that alerts you that it's been logged into the website.

It's Calendar time!  It's truly my favorite time of year when the new calendars come out.  The website has a calendar round up each year and this year there were so many wonderful suggestions that she had to put it into SIX parts!  Decor8Here is the link to the final round up and at the end of that one are the links to the previous parts. Enjoy!!!

Are you traveling to a city that you haven't been to before?  Do you live near a big city that you wish you knew more about?  The Design*Sponge blog has a huge section on their website devoted to City Guides.   I was surprised to see so many city guides to European destinations.  What a great resource.  There is a guide to my city, Jacksonville, FL.  I've printed it out and am going to look into the suggestions.  I've not heard of most of the places and I'm anxious to explore!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  Can you believe it?  If you've read my blog for any length of time you must know that I love Free Printables.  One of my favorite Etsy sellers, Paper and Cake who have some great party printables (for sale) give away a Free Thanksgiving Printable each year.  If you are looking for menu cards or place cards consider running over to Paper and Cake and downloading one of their Thanksgiving printables. They are truly lovely.

The chandelier photos are from my afternoon stroll in Franklin, TN. My friend and I found several artsy shops that had some wonderful chandeliers and I just had to bring them all home - via my camera!

Hope you have a delightful weekend!

  1. I like calendars a lot! We have wall calendars because they are easy to see and refer to. Mine helps me remember what days to take my one-every-other-day pill. Also like my large monthly notebook one because of the big squares to write in and it also serves as my tickler file to help me keep track of when to make appointments, pay our estimated taxes, etc.

    Visiting from FF.

  2. I love fancy chandeliers. I wish I had a good place for one in my home. If our child had been a girl I was absolutely going to include a white one in the room.

I get a Yankees calendar every year. It's my favorite part of the holidays. Still, I can't believe it's November already!

  3. I love those chandeliers!
I agree, it's fun to see where your dollar bills have been. I hope I get one of those sometime!

  4. You are such a wealth of information!!!!

We've tracked a couple of dollars. It was fun seeing their travels.

I've been thinking that my kids know nothing of Detroit yet we live less than 30 minutes from downtown. I'm going to see if that site has one for the big D.

  5. I love calendars too. I'm currently working on our family calendar. It became a tradition a few years back -- I take photos over the past year and make them into calendar on Snapfish. Everyone seems to love it. :)

Where's George is so nifty. I've entered a few bills but haven't found many recently.

    Have a good weekend!
