POTD - Sprinklers at night

POTD - Sprinklers at Night

The night of the eclipse I found a spot in the grass to stand and watch.  I wasn't aware that the sprinkler system had other plans. They came on and made the entire area all misty and left a small river of water on the roadway.

Enjoy!

  1. Our next door neighbor has his sprinkler system set to go on FOUR times every summer day. Our sump pump works overtime to keep up with the overflow.

But I do miss sprinklers today. And not having to wear heavy coats. And not having to warm the car up. And not having to leave early because the roads are pure ice. But I can be fatter in the winter. I knew if I kept typing I would find a positive :)

  2. Very moody, indeed.

I'm still bummed that it was too cloudy here to see any of the eclipse at all. If a person has be an insomniac, they should get some benefit by seeing night time phenomena, don't you think?

  3. Interesting shot. We didn't get to see the eclipse, we had thick rainy clouds for days.
