POTD - Howard's Motel


POTD - Howard's Motel

I drove through Panama City in the panhandle of Florida.  I was hoping for some old Florida motels or vintage charm to photograph and I found quite a bit of it - the problem was taking the time to stop, find a place to park and then go get the shot.  I passed a lot of cool things, but I could not pass by Howard's Motel.   It certainly is a great example of 50s motel signage.

    I'm sure at night with all the lights it looks really cool. There's a liquor store sign (from the '60s) in my old neighborhood that you would appreciate, I'll have to take a pic to share with you.
