POTD - Dancing Goat

This is one of two Dancing Goat signs that hung on the exterior of the coffeehouse in downtown Lansing, Mi.  It now holds an honored spot in my Mom's garage.   For a business that only lasted four years it sure has stayed in our hearts and minds for a very long time.    We closed the Dancing Goat coffeehouse in November of 1998.   The Goat, the blog, will celebrate five years on August 30th of this year.  Good Times.  Real Good Times.

    Really nice sign--like the name of the coffee house. Sad you went out of business.

    I'm betting there are lots of people who fondly remember The Dancing Goat! I like the sign too, and it's nice that it brings back memories of happy times.

    I remember going there in 1995 when I was 19 with my best friend. I'm not even a coffee drinker but I felt so grown up and loved the ambience. I lost my friend to a car accident a year after the coffee house closed. All I have left are great memories and a cute Dancing Goat coffee cup. I'm so happy to see this blog ❤️
