A friend of mine (UP Annie) sent this handmade pop-up card to me in her Christmas envelope, which she made.  I knew I was going to enjoy her card so instead of opening it in my car, where I open most of my mail, I tucked it in my purse so I could read it when all of my attention was focused on the letter.  Then I promptly forgot about it for two days!  Sheesh!  When I realized what I'd done, I think I made that face shown above!!

I thought the pop-up card would make a funny photo of the day, but wasn't sure how to photograph it.  When my friend showed up at dinner tonight with a leg lamp shirt on, I knew I had the perfect background! Thanks Matt for being such a great model and backdrop!

    LOL, yeah, she's a pip!

    That was my "working model" for a card for my daughter-in-laws birthday and I thought you'd get a bang out of it. Did you manage to dismantle the card without tearing it?
