Freeport, Bahamas

Did I mention that I was going on a cruise?

We left yesterday and will be home bright and early Monday morning.

The Carnival Fascination is our ship and it leaves from Jacksonville, FL goes to the Bahamas and then back to Jacksonville. It's a ship that literally travels up and down the coast of Florida lol

It's real nice though. I like having the opportunity to sleep in, to meet new people and to have a hand at the slots in the casino. Yesterday I won $24.00. I put in $20 and cashed out with $44. Not a bad deal!

Tom and I got off the boat today at Freeport. There is a little market near where the cruise ships docks (handy huh?!) and we decided to wander around. I bought a pair of sunglasses (I lost mine about 5 minutes after I put them on today..which by the way is unheard of! I've had those glasses for about 5 years) so anyway, I bought a new pair of sunglasses. Tom bought a straw hat and we both ate BBQd ribs that were the best I've ever tasted in my entire life. I'd take this cruise again to get those ribs. The ribs also didn't spike my blood sugar so that was an added bonus.

I've been very careful about eating and not a drop of dessert has crossed my lips. That's pretty difficult on a cruise ship. Dessert is all around on every level, I swear. If I were a food addict, I might not be able to resist! lol

OK, at 40 cents a minute - I've used up a bunch.
