Rocks and Weeds - by Kristin Corlett
This was taken at a little parking area on the Grand River in Lansing, MI. I think it is a part of Francis Park. I took a few dozen photos of the ducks and the geese but this was by far the most interesting photo. I love all of the colors.
Enjoy!

Very pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteThe colors & textures of the rocks are lovely. There is a river within a 5 minute walk from my home. There is a little spot surrounded by trees next to the water that is my own little hide-away. It is the perfect place to sit & read or sometimes just sit. Your picture makes me think of my spot.
ReplyDeleteI love your rocks and water picture! Up here in Glacierland, we have back roads lined with boulders and I want to stop and learn to draw them some day. Some day when the roads are wider. It's amazing how many colors and textures there are in stones.
ReplyDeleteKaren - I'm glad it made you think of your spot :)
ReplyDeleteAnn - I was actually surprised when I got this picture on my computer how many colors there were. It was such a cloudy day I hadn't noticed! I hope you do learn how to draw your glacier rocks :)
