Rocks and Weeds - by Kristin Corlett
This was taken at a little parking area on the Grand River in Lansing, MI. I think it is a part of Francis Park. I took a few dozen photos of the ducks and the geese but this was by far the most interesting photo. I love all of the colors.
Enjoy!

Very pretty!!!
The colors & textures of the rocks are lovely. There is a river within a 5 minute walk from my home. There is a little spot surrounded by trees next to the water that is my own little hide-away. It is the perfect place to sit & read or sometimes just sit. Your picture makes me think of my spot.
I love your rocks and water picture! Up here in Glacierland, we have back roads lined with boulders and I want to stop and learn to draw them some day. Some day when the roads are wider. It's amazing how many colors and textures there are in stones.
Karen - I'm glad it made you think of your spot :)
Ann - I was actually surprised when I got this picture on my computer how many colors there were. It was such a cloudy day I hadn't noticed! I hope you do learn how to draw your glacier rocks :)
