POTD - Pussy Willows


POTD - Pussy Willows

There were pussy willows in the backyard of the house where I grew up.  If I had known that I would rarely see pussy willows again after I left that house, I would have paid more attention to them!  I found these beauties at the market in Rome.

    I love pussy willows, but never get around to gathering any until they've started to fuzz out and turn green. Doh!

    I love them too, and as a child in the northwoods thought they grew EVERYWHERE just like they did up there.

    NOT - - - I haven't seen any in years. I wonder if I'll meet some now that I am back in Wisconsin???
