POTD - Budding Out
©2011 Kristin Corlett
I have lived in Jacksonville, FL for 5 years now and have never documented when the trees lose their leaves and when they start budding out...but I did this season! It's just a little over a month from falling leaves to buds. I was driving into a condo community and saw the flowers starting to bloom in this tree with the sun shining bright behind it. It was just gorgeous! So here's a little blue skies and sunshine for all those that need it :)
Enjoy!

Again - - - this quite amazes a dweller on the frozen tundra!
Aaaahhh. Warmth. We are frozen. Really frozen here. No buds until at least 2 more months.
I LOVE this...like, one of my favorites EVER. Beautiful.
Only a month? That's interesting! Love the shot, too :)
Your right, I think it's that way here too. I was searching for Fall color last Fall and I just found it a few weeks ago here! Now things have buds on them. Great shot Kristin.
Thanks everyone!
This photo is just gorgeous, Kristin! I live in the Orlando area, so I'm spoiled with sunshine too. Thanks for the beautiful spot of loveliness!

Budding trees? In February? Not up in the frozen 42N latitudes. You are fortunate to have such lovely weather now.
