POTD - Kissing a Rock
©2011 Kristin Corlett
At a local strip mall this particular flower bed was overflowing with these pretty blue bushes called Royal Cape (Plumbago capensis). These flowers bloom nearly all summer and well into autumn here in Florida. This variety was one of the few plants that I managed to keep alive when we lived in the Daytona Beach area. My favorite part of this photo is that this particular bundle of flowers were the only ones kissing the giant rock.
Muhaaa!

It's so pretty.
Indeed they are. We just took a wildflower walk and found yellow violets, hepatica, and trilliums. Miss Michigan at all???
Love the shot, very beautiful flowers indeed.
I love it. You have such an eye for beauty.
