POTD - Palms on A1A
©2011 Kristin Corlett
I've gone a little nutty with the camera in my phone. I like all of the retro camera looks I can get and some of them, like this one, are even aged with all of the scratches and imperfections. I'm sure it will wear off, but for right now I'm playing! A1A is the main road that runs along the Atlantic Ocean between the ocean and the Intracoastal waterway. There is one lovely stretch of A1A where there is just one long row of palm trees in the median. With my handy dandy phone I snapped some photos of the trees. This particular photo reminds me of the old Florida photos that used to be on brochures and post cards. This is a new favorite of mine.
Enjoy!

Gorgeous. I love the plams!
Cool effect!
Believe it or not - I just took a picture of some palm trees - BUT not in FL (where they fit the scenery). No the picture was taken in Illinois.
I'm going to post about it soon.
It looks like one square on old movie film.
I love the effect on this one! It is so retro.
