POTD - Dots

I got a box of Dots gumdrops a few weeks ago at a potluck dinner - it was part of the table decorations. I have been wanting to photograph them ever since I got them, so I'm happy that I got that accomplished last night.  How did I come up with this arrangement for the Dots?   This is the way the little gumdrops landed when I dumped them out of the box. I have another Dots photo over at my Shuttercal site that also has the box in it.
