Thanks for commenting on my Good Reads post, but I had to delete it, because it was a draft that I accidentally published too early. It cracked me up, though! Maybe it's that the book is written from the point of view of a nine-year-old boy, but the author keeps repeating stupid lines for effect, I guess, and it's just plain annoying. I appreciate the idea of what he was going for, but it was just so obvious that I wanted to stop reading it. Loving the other one, though.
