POTD - Green and Rust

Have you ever seen these giant round containers in and around cities? I have and yet I don't have a clue what they are used for? Are they treating waste water? Is this fresh water? Does it NOT hold water at all? Well, in Jamaica there were several of these all next to the dock where our ship pulled in. I really liked the patina of container and the rust and white of the stairway. The funniest thing though, was that I took this picture because I thought the palm tree was a mural on the side of the container. It wasn't until we walked back by it a few hours later that I realized it was a real palm tree.

I love this picture. There are such wonderful colors/patina, makes it very interesting for sure!
the containers hold either oil or gas for your cruise ship! most large harbors have these. in boston they are by the airport!
