POTD - The Local Library
©2011 Kristin Corlett

Peeking through the stacks at the library, where I've been become a frequent visitor recently.  I have never been a library goer, because I think I need to buy books all the time.  In the new digital age, I'm finding the library to be even more important.  I can download the books that I want to read and the books that have lots of pictures, diagrams, how-to projects - those books I've been getting from the library.  Not to mention, I've been getting the JD Robb "in Death" series in audio book format.  Nearly the entire collection is available at my local library.  Pretty cool!

Enjoy!

Another favorite place of mine, the library. My kids didn't think we'd really gone to town if they didn't get to stop at the library.

Of course, there are many more resources now than the libraries I remember from childhood, but I've always loved them.

Another reason I've always loved them is because they were always the first place that remembered my name when I've moved from place to place. That's a biggie for me.

Sounds interesting. I haven't been to the library since my children were young and then before you knew it we were able to get everything on the computer!!!
