POTD - Handwriting

POTD - Handwriting
©2011 Kristin Corlett

I have a minor fascination with handwriting.  I worked on my handwriting for years to get it to look the same every time I wrote.  I also wanted my printing to be very neat just like the manager at my work place.  His printing was absolutely perfect and I wanted mine to look just like it.  The handwriting on this envelope is so close to cursive but it's not.  I like all of the little curves in the r, i and u.  The S's are particularly fabulous.

Enjoy!

When I wanted to learn calligraphy, someone told me to think of it as drawing. That is some fascinating writing in your sample!

I think I personally use a blend that is about 90% printing and 10% cursive. I try to make it look neat, but can't say I've actually practiced other than to just write.

That is the coolest writing I have seen. I don't like mine, I use to but it's just gotten ugly over the years.

I love handwriting, and I have multiple regular ways of writing depending on my mood and what I'm writing.
