POTD - Emu

Emu - by Kristin Corlett

I'm thinking this is an Emu, but I'm not real sure.  I found it at my local Anthropology store...one of my favorite photo shops :)  I talked with one of the sales girls and she said that they had a photography class come in one afternoon to photograph all of the cool vignettes and displays.  When she told me that, I stopped that little nagging worry in the back of my head that I was going to get into trouble.

I called this an Emu because there seemed to be more fluff on the top of the emu's head than the ostrich, but I have no idea really.  It's a cool looking bird no matter what it's supposed to be.

Enjoy!
Kristin

it kind of reminds me of your music tree because of all the paper. Its really uniques and interesting - it would look good in this one corner of my house.

It kind of looks like an Emu! Me and Ben went to an Emu farm a couple years ago. They are very interesting and intimidating birds! They make this cool drumming sound! Very neat! Thanks for sharing!

He's hysterical and I love him, emu or not.

It's so cute. I went to my anthro store the day after Christmas and they were wiped out of holiday stuff. I do stop over often to look at the sale stuff. I keep thinking that I want to do a wall of colorful plates!
