The Atlantic Ocean

A lone bird walking along the beach.

The Atlantic Ocean was pretty churned up this day and high tide was on it's way in.

I wonder what this bird is thinking at this moment.

He wasn't actively looking for food (that I could tell) but rather just walking along in the surf.

I know, bird brains aren't known for deep thought! but I just have to believe that this bird had thoughts of peace or excitement of the tide coming in or something interesting.

Since we'll never know, I'm just going to believe that I'm right :)

The waves were huge.  I'm not used to the Atlantic being so churned up, but now that I think about it, I think there was a hurricane brewing out there fairly nearby.

These are the last of the ocean shots until I return.

The next month is going to be roadtrip shots and then Lansing, MI and shots of family and friends.

Enjoy!

Travel safely. We'll enjoy the trip along with you via your camera.

And the bird? He's thinking about his next meal, just like a human being. LOL

I LOVE watching these beach waders run up and down the beach staying ahead of the surf - - - I think he's thinking: "Yipes! These waves are over my head!"

Those are wonderful pictures. I just love the way the ocean works with the low & high tides. I love watching and listening to it too!
