POTD - Up North

POTD - Up North

When in Michigan, if you find yourself North of the city of Clare, you are officially "Up North." Lots of people go Up North on the weekends, on vacations and for various hunting/fishing seasons. Some people actually reside Up North! This past weekend I was fortunate enough to get invited Up North and spend a day in splendid beauty with delightful company. According to my friend Lori, this is the Elk River and it's flowing into Grand Traverse East Bay.

Enjoy!

Amazing that human beings can actually survive north of Clare, yet we surely do. LOL

Thanks for the boost.

It is so beautiful. I love Michigan and spent many wonderful summers in Union Pier.

Gorgeous! We say "Up North" in Wisconsin too, though I've never heard the southern boundary NAMED like that. I'd say anything NORTH of Eau Claire was Up North in Wisconsin!

That is a gorgeous Up North photo.

YAY! POTD is back and best of all, I CAN SEE IT! I can see all of your pics. I read soooo many posts in Google Reader. I will only comment on a couple of them, but I saw them all!

Love ya Kristin.
