Smokey Mountains

Another day on the road.  I spent most of it on the expressway because I really didn't have enough daylight to go on the backroads through the Smokey Mountains.

Then, when I was out of the Smokeys, it was dark.

I've been incredibly fortunate with the beautiful weather, well placed rest areas and a good audio book.

Yesterday I listened to a book that I couldn't finish.  I hated it.  I don't care who did it and I don't care if they get caught.  It's a bad thing when you don't care about the characters.  I put in a different book today and I have really enjoyed it.

I'm ready to crawl into bed, so that's it for today.

Have a great day!

Thanks for the pictures of the Smokies. That's my old stomping ground. I miss them way up here in MD.

The mountain views are lovely---so's the sunset in Kentucky. But the plant made me sneeze.

Gorgeousness.

Is that ragweed? Those yellow skinny stalks of flowers all look like ragweed to me - - - so my sneezey nose tries to avoid them!

Sure are purdy though.

LOL - - - I just now see that Annie talked about the sneezing thing too!

The mountains looks beautiful and I love the yellow flower. Is it yarrow? So glad you have had nice weather. Sorry about the one book.
