Lime recipes

Tomorrow is the big day!  We're having our Trailer Park Chic potluck.  I've been scouring through my grandmother's recipes looking for something retro, interesting, tacky and good.

I didn't find what I was looking for, but I did find some Lime recipes.

This first one is a hoot!

I think someone might have given this to her because none of her recipes were typed.  This is the only one I've found.

New! Different! Delightful!

It's even got a topping.  Marshmallow and Lime!
This next one I actually thought about making just because I can't even begin to imagine what it might taste like.

Have you ever had onions and cucumbers in lime jello with mayo?  It's hard to believe that someone came up with it and then served it.

I just couldn't make it for this event - I wanted tacky, but I wanted people to eat what I brought!

This one isn't as scary as the lime jello, cucumbers and onions but it's got some weird ingredients.

I just realized this one uses lemon gelatin.  oops, sorry lemon.  I didn't mean to turn you green.

I would have never put pineapple and pimentos together.

Maybe one day I'll gather my bravest taste testers and make a few of these oddities.

Anyone want to volunteer to be a taster?
Anyone?

Have a great day!
Kristin

LOL, I think the whipped cream may be the magic ingredient in the reception salad. You have made me curious enough so that I may try that one. Pimento???

EW! No tasting here, sorry. Im not very adventurous when it comes to weird flavor pairings.
I wish I'd known you were looking for recipes like this, I'd have sent you my Tater Tot Casserole recipe....it's SO yummy but doesn't it sound trailer park perfect?

Not that you need to be told but please take lots of photos! I can't wait to see it all!

Isn't there a lime jello/marshmallow recipe?
