POTD - Handprints

POTD - Handprints

My handprint on the left and Michelle's on the right.  Michelle and I helped paint Lori's condo last week.   As a little signature of our handiwork, Lori asked us to put our handprint on the wall in her closet.   Here is what Lori said "I asked them to paint their hands and put them on the wall of my closet in the condo as a constant reminder of the "helping hands" I had painting the condo. I have the best friends ever!!"

How sweet :0)

Oh this is great. Your post has reminded me and inspired me. I'm inspired to post a picture of a bedroom closet. A few years ago we painted the room. As I got into the closet I discovered some writing on the inside. Our daughter who was at the time of the repainting graduated from college had taken a marker to the wall and expressed her love for Matt. She dated it. Then about 3 months later she expressed her love for Tony and wrote that she loves Tony much more than Matt. Of course we could not paint over her love expressions.

That's awesome! It would be awesomer if she had chosen a "public" spot in the house and used your prints there as art!!!

That's a really nice, lasting way to commemorate the time you spent helping with the paint job. Good idea! It will always make her smile.
