POTD - Nebraska Road

Nebraska Road - by Kristin Corlett

Sand roads.  Every time I see one I think of Nebraska.  It might be because I've been on more sand roads in Nebraska than anywhere else.  This road just happens to be in Nebraska :)

Lovely! Look at that big, beautiful sky!

Have a fantastic Thursday, Kristin.

I love that 3 out of 4 sentences in your post had "Nebraska" in them. A blogging first!

Seriously though, your photo is gorgeous.

I thought Nebraska only had snow.
I would never think of SAND!

Tricia - It is a big beautiful sky and at night in the country you can see so many stars!

Jennifer - LOL I love Nebraska and I can't say it enough. THanks.

Just Breathe - only snow? How funny. Nope, they have lots of sand as well as lots of grasses and grazing lands and farms.

I first saw and understood sand roads in Kansas...way back in '84. Makes me really understand the dustbowl and fragility of the prairie grasses...beautiful.
