Air Conditioner, Bedroom, Car, etc.

The ABCs of Me.

I don't normally do these kinds of posts because I figure I talk so much about myself that you all probably don't need to have me tell you any more and let alone a whole bunch in one post.

HOWEVER, I realized I could answer nearly all of these questions that Just Breathe posted the other day and since I'm going to be in Gulf Shores for a few days, I was going to need to have some easy to write posts while my friend is visiting with me.  Turns out I wrote it just moments ago, while I'm waiting for my friend to call to say that he has arrived.  I wrote out the answers to the questions as if I were in my house in FL.

So thank you Debby for sharing this meme and I hope you all enjoy getting to know a little bit about my house and home.

A - My AIR CONDITIONER is set on: 72º  - Since my husband and I are home most of the day, I have the thermostat just set on hold at 72º.

B- My BEDROOM theme is: Spare.  Yellow walls, red curtains (always shut tight) and always neat as a pin.  It's the only room in the house with that honor.

C- The CAR in the driveway is: (in the parking garage) is a Hyundai Santa Fe.  LOVE IT!  My husband's car is a Mercedes something or other but I don't care for it at all.  He loves it though :)  Guess that's all that matters.

D- My DESK looks: like a perfect place to perfect dust drawings.  Around the stacks of paperwork, of course.

E- The EXACT time I wake up daily is: Between 9am and 10am.  The alarm is set for 10 each day.

F- The FIRST thing I wash in the shower is: my hair

G- My GARAGE is filled with: household stuff.  My garage is about 6 miles from my home though.  We didn't get a garage with the condo that we live in, but we did get one when we bought one of our rental condos.

H- My HOUSE is: a condo on the 5th floor of a very nice place at the end of a strip mall.  It's actually great being so close to so many things and very quiet at night.

I- If you peeked INSIDE my bedroom you'd see: a made bed with a yellow painted sewing stand as the bedside table on my side and ane Asian style dark wood nightstand on my husband's side.

J- My favorite JUICE is: not a fan of juice these days.  I like water or my ViSalus shakes.

K- The best part of my KITCHEN is: that my dishtowels are in it :)

L- The LAST person who visited my home was: The Culligan Man

M- The last piece of MAIL for me was:The last piece of fun mail for me was a package of pressed pennies that I ordered.  One was a Cedar Point penny - My very favorite amusement park - and the others were from the Albuquerque Balloon Festival.

N- My NEIGHBORS think I'm: just the sweetest thing!  You can ask my neighbor Virginia.  She'll say it in almost a whisper. I can almost hear her saying this to her husband the last time I saw them in the hallway.  "Jim, don't you think Kristin is the sweetest thing.  Her nose is adorable, too."  That woman almost always says something about my nose! LOL

O- If you OPENED my fridge you'd see: Stacks of black togo containers that I use for my everyday leftovers.  Shredded cheese would be in one, cooked hamburger in another, premade salad in another, etc.

P- My last house PARTY was: a long time ago - gosh it was Thanksgiving a few years ago.

Q- A QUICK meal I like to fix is: Salad or sauted summer squash, mushrooms and onions mixed with scrambled eggs and cheese.

R- My favorite ROOM of the house is: my living room

S- The SHAMPOO brand I use is: Ion Dandruff Solutions Clear-T Dual Action Anti-Dandruff Shampoo for psoriasis   No more flakes. None.

T- My largest TELEVISION is: 36" I do believe.

U- UNDER my bed you will find: the cat if someone has come over, but otherwise nothing.

V- The last time I VACUUMED was: yesterday

W- Looking out my WINDOW I see: a little retention pond (that they call a lake here in Florida) and the parking lot of the Publix Shopping Plaza.

X- I wish I had X-TRA: (Isn't this funny, I can't think of a thing that I wish I had extra of)  I wish I had less fat, I wish I had more time to spend with family, I wish I had extra ... here we go...  Endurance.  I wish I had extra endurance so that I wouldn't poop out so quickly when I exercise or go for a walk.  This extra endurance could probably help with the less fat part :)

Y- My YARD is:maintained by the condo association.  It's the best part of living here.

Z- ZZZZZZZ My bedtime is:  usually around 3am.  I can't seem to get everything done that I want done until that time.  Even if I go to bed early, I find myself awake until that time.

If you'd like to play along, Debby at Just Breathe, has an empty form at the bottom of her post.  It's a good way to go ahead and meet her, too :)  I'm tricky!

Thanks everyone!  Have a great great day!
Kristin

I love your answers and several of them I remember reading about in a post. I do love the fact that you are very organized. You know how much I love your dish towels in the basket and that you collect the smashed pennies like my daughter does. I remember you post on your black togo containers and the salad that you always make. Now I learned a few more things about you and I agree with your neighbor. I want to live in a condo someday and be super organized, there is a great freedom to living that way. Less is more :)Thanks for playing along.

I always love reading things like this and about other peoples everyday lives. Thanks.

I did it myself too.

Hopefully it can help me get back into the rhythm of posting, I've been needing something to get me started again.

I love the dish towel collection. I wish I could have one like that myself. So neat, and clean and vintagey. But my dear husband, uses them. And have I mentioned he's a mechanic? He comes in from the garage and goes right to the kitchen sink to wash up. Grabs the first towel hanging on the oven door. I make sure I never, ever put anything new, bright or clean there. :( He'd grab it without thinking and dry off. It'd be black in two point two seconds. But I love him. And my dingy old dishtowels I buy at yard sales. And I love the grease stains on the edge of our WHITE counter where his shirt rubs up against it.
