POTD - Lighthouse Mailbox

POTD - Lighthouse Mailbox

Making Christmas cards always gets me thinking about mailboxes.  I found this lighthouse mailbox months ago while I was on one of my neighborhood tours.  I'm also in a black and white theme, so I might as well continue!

Enjoy!

I love original mailboxes. We have two in our neighborhood: one is a mail truck and one is a fire truck. Wonder where those owners might work...Someday I'll figure it out.

How cute is that? I love the little flowers in the windowbox. It reminds me of the fun of doll houses that are all decked out with "real house" stuff.

Yes, I did play with dolls.

It seems that FL residents go in for fun mailboxes in a BIG way!!! I did a post about mailboxes on our last trip down there.

This one is very cute.

I don't think you see so many cute mailboxes up here - - - th occasional Bass Box or a tractor.

I did see one up here once that had a small box suspended way up above the main box, and the little HIGH box was labeled, "air mail."

That's a cute one. When I was in Florida I saw the best mailboxes and this is a good example of that!
