POTD - Turner Dodge House

POTD - Turner Dodge House

The Turner - Dodge House in Lansing, MI was built in 1858 by the James Turner family and in 1899 Turner's son-in-law, Frank Dodge, purchased the house and enlarged the already grand home.  In 1974 the city of Lansing purchased the property and turned it into a park.

The little details on the exterior of these old homes are so lovely.  The little metal details on the ridge of the roof was the focus of this shot, for me.  I thought they looked like little cat paws.

Enjoy!

The detail is beautiful. They don't make them like that anymore!
