Childrens Book Day

I wrote out all of the weird, unofficial, fun and plain old bizarre holidays for the months of March and April onto a calendar. I've been trying to celebrate some of them, because they are just fun. Last weekend was the official "Stuff on a Stick Day." Now that was exciting!

Well, I hadn't looked at the calendar in a few days and I just looked and you'll never guess what today is...

It is "Children's Book Day"

and the last post I wrote was about a children's book that I bought for Stella.

It is just so funny how stuff like this works out.

I don't think I have ever written about a children's book - I don't think I have purchased one in many many years and today, on Children's book day I received and blogged about a child's book. Just awesome. It's the Law of Attraction.

Here is the schedule for the upcoming week, in case you were curious or wanted to celebrate obscure holidays just for the fun of it!

I love it!!! It's so fun, it's like Murphy's Law in reverse!!!

Some of those special days are a stitch. My FAVORITE is "stuff on a stick" Did you have corn dogs for dinner and top it off with a lollypop for dessert???

I didn't know it was walk to work day - oops! Oh well, it's rainy, maybe I can find a rainbow later today.

Thanks for stopping by and posting that list of meme's! You are awesome.

I love this too!!! I never would have thought to celebrate these days. Before your post, I looked at those 'special days' as annoyances. Thanks for opening my eyes to embracing the different and having fun with them instead of being annoyed by them.

If somebody spent time, money and personal effort into getting a date 'named', the least I can do is have fun with it!!!

Thanks Kristin for another ahhh-haaa moment and helping me to look at and 'smell' the roses.
